Credit is reserved before each request and settled to the exact amount. If your balance can't cover a request, it fails with a 402 before it reaches the model.

Is Glexir affiliated with OpenAI?
No. Glexir is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI. Our API is OpenAI-compatible, and models are listed by their OpenAI model IDs.
How is usage priced?
At OpenAI list price, with no markup per token. Batch and flex are 50% of standard. Requests above 272K input tokens are billed at the long-context rate. The current prices are always at api.glexir.com/v1/pricing.
How does the volume bonus work?
A single top-up of $50 or more earns bonus credit: paying P at discount d gives you P / (1 - d) of usage. $1,000 at 30% off gives you $1,428.57. Bonus credit can't be refunded and expires with the top-up that earned it.
What happens when my balance runs out?
The request fails with a 402 before it reaches the model, so you're never billed after the fact. Turn on auto recharge to top up automatically, with a monthly cap.
Can I keep using the OpenAI SDK?
Yes. Set the base URL to https://api.glexir.com/v1 and use your Glexir key. Or use @glexir/sdk, our zero-dependency TypeScript SDK.
Which endpoints are supported?
Responses, Chat Completions, Conversations, Models, Embeddings, audio transcription and translation, Files and Batches. Hosted tools, image generation, text-to-speech and realtime are not supported.
Who gets the free credit?
New accounts, once per account and once per card, when you add a card. It's $10, works with any model, and expires after 30 days. Prepaid cards aren't eligible.
Does credit expire?
Purchased credit expires 12 months after purchase. Bonus credit expires with the purchase that earned it; free credit after 30 days. Billing docs
